About West Bay Club

West Bay Club sits off Coconut Road on the bay side of Estero, between the Estero River and the Gulf, and what separates it from its neighbours is geography rather than scale. One membership reaches three separate places: a Pete and P.B. Dye course inside the gate, a private beach club on the sand at Little Hickory Island with a restaurant and valet, and a river park with a dock and the community's own boat launch. Inside are estate homes, coach homes, villas and The Island, a tower of eighty-six residences at the western end. A listing here is competing on access to water and sand that most Estero addresses simply do not have.

Photographing in West Bay Club

Three amenities in three places, and most listings mention one

Golf inside the gate. A deeded beach club on the Gulf, several miles away. A river park with a boat launch. They are not in the same location and a buyer cannot infer them from an address, so the marketing has to say all three plainly — it is the single strongest argument the community has and it is routinely half-made.

The beach club is the frame an aerial cannot take from the house

Photographing the home tells a buyer nothing about the sand they get to use. Coverage of the beach club and the river park is included at no extra charge, and on a West Bay listing those frames are doing work no interior can.

A tower residence and an estate home are different shoots

The Island is eighty-six residences in one building — about the view, the terrace and the light through the glass. An estate home on the course is about grounds, lanai and pool. Same gate, same fee structure, entirely different brief.

West-facing means the sunset, and it is worth ordering

The community faces the bay and the Gulf beyond it, so a west-facing terrace or lanai gets a clean unobstructed twilight. Which units have it depends on the building and the floor, so it is decided against the specific address rather than the community name.

Communities We Serve in West Bay Club

Explore communities throughout West Bay Club where ADM provides real estate photography and media.

  • The Beach Club

A private beachfront club on the Gulf at Little Hickory Island, with a full-service restaurant and valet — reached from a community several miles inland of it.

  • The golf course

Eighteen holes by Pete and P.B. Dye through the middle of the community, private and inside the gate.

  • River Park

The community's park on the Estero River with its own dock and boat launch — kayaking, canoeing and fishing without leaving the association.

  • The Island

A twenty-four storey tower of eighty-six residences at the western end, with long views over Estero Bay. Both of ADM's West Bay addresses are here.

  • Estate homes

Detached homes on the larger lots, many along the course or the preserve, at the top of the community's range.

  • Coach homes and villas

Attached homes with maintenance included — the accessible way into a community whose amenities are the reason people buy here.

  • The bay frontage

Estero Bay along the western edge, and the reason a west-facing terrace here gets an unobstructed sunset.

Living in West Bay Club

Inside the community

  • West Bay Club

The club itself — the Dye course, the beachfront club on the Gulf and the River Park boat launch.

Close by

  • Coconut Point

The open-air shopping and dining centre a few minutes east on US 41.

  • Lovers Key State Park

Barrier-island beach and kayak trails west of the community, past Bonita Beach.

  • Koreshan State Park

Real Estate Marketing at West Bay Club

Say all three, then show the two the house cannot

The mistake a West Bay listing makes is mentioning the golf and stopping. One fee here also reaches a private beach club on the Gulf and a river park with the community's own boat launch, and neither is anywhere near the front door — which is exactly why they have to be photographed rather than described. Community coverage is included at no extra charge. After that the brief follows the home: view, terrace and light for a tower residence at The Island; grounds, lanai and pool for an estate. For the seasonal buyer deciding from out of state, the Zillow 3D Home Tour and the floor plan are what make the shortlist.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you photograph homes at West Bay Club?

Yes — West Bay Boulevard is an address in ADM's records, shot twice with aerial, interiors, floor plan and a property website. Gate access is arranged before the appointment.

  • Will you photograph the beach club and the river park?

Yes, and it is included at no extra charge. They are the strongest part of what West Bay sells and neither is visible from the home, so leaving them out gives a buyer half the argument. Indoor spaces need the club's permission arranged in advance.

  • Is a tower residence shot differently from a house?

Yes. The Island is about the view, the terrace and how the light comes through the glass; an estate home is about grounds and outdoor living. Tell us which at booking and the shoot is planned for it.

  • Is twilight worth it here?

On a west-facing unit, very much — the community looks out over Estero Bay with nothing in the way. Which homes have that depends on the building and the floor, so we decide it against the specific address.
