Olde Hickory is a gated golf community in the Daniels Parkway corridor, small enough that its streets are named for the course running through it — Hickory Links, Hickory Fairway, Hickory Hill. That compactness is the point of the place. There is one course, one clubhouse and a short drive from any front door to either, which suits buyers who want a club without the scale of the larger communities a few minutes east. Inside are condominiums, coach homes, attached villas and single-family homes, most of them on the golf course or the water, and the whole community sits within a few minutes of Daniels Parkway, Six Mile Cypress and the interstate.
The addresses on ADM's books here are overwhelmingly interiors, with one listing taking the full set — aerial, floor plan and a property website alongside. That pattern says the homes turning over are mostly attached and condominium stock where the interior is the product, and the exceptions are the ones with a view worth flying.
In a community this compact almost every home is a short walk from a fairway or a lake, which is a genuine selling point and an easy one to waste. The aerial is what establishes it; from the ground, one lanai looks much like another.
